A death
A dead end
The Lioness in the cage
Had a lovely forest past.
Now she has a city cub and
She doesn’t know how to
Tell her son that they
Do not belong here.
She asked him to
Hold the ladder
So she will not fall.
He held the ladder
Coz he heard her say
She climbed, up
Up, up and away.
Away she went
Alas! She went.
Still he holds the ladder
Coz he can’t hear her say
I sat on the bench
With tears in my eyes.
You opened the window
And sung a song for me.
I strolled your trails and
You left a fortuitous rose
In my dreams you came alone
And stole my heart from me
Back on the bench with
Tears in my heart…
You opened the window
And sung a song for him…
I happened to see this unfinished one:
In the Café with rain outside
He sat near the corner stall.
Waiting resulted in nothing
But he waited, just waited
The candle gave not just light
Hot tears fell down the eye.
Vacuity filled the memory chair*
And memories crammed the mind
Now, when I read this, I have a different mood. So, what might have happened in the café?
I think the café guy changed the disc in his music player and there came this Michael Jackson song:
“Do you remember the time?
